Itineraries

Recovering from cervical cancer surgery, I have gained an increased clarity of understanding about what is important to me; mainly spending more time with the people I love. My mother recently passed away from breast cancer, I was diagnosed with cancer at 40. This journey has affected me deeply. I want every day to matter.

Working with my father to develop all aspects of the winery has been so intensely interesting and satisfying. Tulip Hill Winery specializes in award winning red wines. Our success is due to our commitment to quality and our passion for growing classic grape varietals like Merlot, Zinfandel and Syrah for blending with our Cabernet grapes to produce luscious, full bodied wines.

We have no interest in volume; we simply wish to provide the most satisfying experience for dedicated wine lovers.

Tulip Hill Winery is located in Nice, a tiny town in Northern California. Tulip Hill’s vineyards are owned by my family and managed by my brother; my father and I own the winery. Recently, I was honored to be appointed company president. The Rancho Mirage Store is our main outlet; yet we ship to customers throughout the country. Many of our customers are members of our quarterly Wine Club.

Why Rancho Mirage? This perfect little city is centrally located in the Palm Springs Valley.

Relax in Rancho Mirage with someone you love to be with.
 

Spend the perfect day being pampered at the Spa at Mission Hills located at the Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa. Bliss out to the soothing waves of an Inner C; it’s like being in your own private ocean. This effervescent bath is infused with active marine ingredients and silk powder to soften skin and restore equilibrium to your entire being. Follow with an Indian Massage; again it is just amazing.

dinner Experience the flavors of lime, coconut, peanuts, lemongrass and bamboo shoots contrasted with curry, chili, ginger and cilantro at Bangkok 5. This Thai restaurant is a palace for food. Glorious décor and amazing food make this a perfect dining destination.

Take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to the summit. It is an adventure unlike any other in the World. It’s an amazing 10,834 foot climb from the warm desert to the cool peak of the San Jacinto Mountain. Dress appropriately; the temperature change can be significant.
lunch Pack a picnic lunch with salads and sandwiches from Jennifer’s Kitchen and a bottle of wine from Tulip Hill Winery.
 

Traverse the Desert View Trail; it is an awesome 1.5 mile hike providing fantastic views of the Palm Springs Valley while you explore the native flora and fauna of the San Jacinto mountains. It’s a must!

Another day of relaxing in Rancho Mirage with someone you love to share time with.
  Invigorate your senses and your body with the wonderful treatments of Spa Las Palmas at Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa. Start with a Chamomile Body Scrub: it’s so gentle and refreshing. Next indulge with a soothing and hydrating Herbal Body Wrap. Finally top off the day with a European Deep Cleansing Facial. Sometimes I just deserve to be queen for the day.
